Is this real lens blur?
Synthesized to match real lens optics — including bokeh shapes around point highlights — at three intensity steps.
Does the subject stay sharp?
Yes. The subject is preserved in razor focus; only the background is blurred.
Will it work on flat-lit product shots?
Yes, but the effect is more dramatic on scenes with depth. A flat-lit product on white doesn't have much background to blur.
Which intensity should I pick?
Medium is the default catalog look. Heavy reads as portrait/editorial. Light is a subtle separation only.
