How specific should my scene description be?
Specific. "Marble countertop, morning kitchen light" beats "a kitchen" — describe the surface, light, and mood.
Does the subject keep its original lighting?
The original key light direction is preserved; the model re-renders rim and ambient light to match the new scene so the composite looks like one photograph.
Will the product be recolored?
